Herd Health Update

Our herd is thriving! This spring our momma cows delivered a passel of beautiful healthy baby calves like this Highland X Angus. They’re all out bouncing around in belly deep pastures of legumes and grasses. Their typical day consists of waking up at dawn ravenously hungry, slurping down as much warm mother’s milk as they can. Then bolting across the pasture weaving in and out the herd to butt heads and gallop with all the other calves. Finally collapsing in a heap to sleep in the warm sun. Then up they’ll get, have a long stretch, and do it all over again.
